Sandra reached out for help with what seemed like a simple project, but it quickly turned into a more involved task. We started by removing the old paving and uncovered buried roll-on turf beneath it. Once that was cleared, we discovered two massive limestone boulders, which we removed. With the groundwork sorted, we moved on to the rebuild. This included adding retaining walls, relocating the fence, and constructing a new shed. The final result was a fresh, functional backyard, and both Sandra and our team were thrilled with how it all came together.
Athalie was referred to me by a friend. Recently widowed, she was managing a property that hadn’t seen maintenance in decades and urgently needed help with fire reduction. I got to work with a whipper snipper and a range of other tools, tackling overgrown vegetation through clearing, blowing, and controlled burning. The transformation was dramatic, and Athalie couldn’t have been happier. She’s now one of my most satisfied clients, with ongoing work scheduled to keep the property in top shape.
At a stunning property nestled in the back of the hills, the owners asked me to create a level area outside their shed. The original step was far too steep, making it impractical to use. After taking some measurements, we got to work. We constructed an earth stone wall, adding a random rock finish on the ends to taper it off seamlessly. The result was a functional and visually appealing space that fit perfectly with the natural surroundings. The owners were thrilled with how it turned out!
Tom and his partner approached me with this problem not only does the fence need replacing he would like the yard ground level raised nearly two and half meters. My advice to tom was to call in an independent engineer for a drawing and plan to go ahead with this job its the easiest and safest way. Tom has and the job is ongoing.
Phil and Gleny's approached me with a problem: the palms in their yard were causing significant damage to their wall. After assessing the situation, we quickly decided to build a new wall in front of the old one. We began by digging a trench, installing the correct reinforcement for the job, building a footing, constructing the wall, and then filling it with concrete. Keep in mind, no machines were allowed in Phil's yard. Everything was done by hand, including mixing the concrete on-site.
